Praying for the peace of Kenya that the gospel may be shared and lives continually changed around the country. Kenya remains a turbulent and troubled land even in recent times. Over the past 30 years, numerous Islamist related terrorist attacks have killed hundreds of Kenyans and disrupted far more lives. In response, Christian Kenya has participated in the African Union combined efforts to stabilize Islamic Somalia with whom Kenya shares a large border. Fortunatley, Kitali is far from Somalia and there has never been an issue for the Neema team but we should continually pray for the peace in this land, wisdom for its leaders and shelter for its people.

"I say this about the Lord, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust- he will certainly rescue you from the snare of the hunter and from the destructive plague. He will shelter you with his wings; you will find safety under his wings. His faithfulness is like a shield or a protective wall. For you have take refuge in the Lord, my shelter, the sovereign One." (Ps91:2-4,9)
