Donate to Our Securing Her Future Capital Campaign
Less than 25% of women in rural Kenya who went to school completed high-school, crushing their opportunities for a better future. They live in extreme poverty and frequently become teenage mothers.
We’re on a mission to change that and give twice as many vulnerable young women a path out of poverty through skills training, counseling, and discipleship. Our current rented facilities are insufficient, but our new, permanent campus will provide a much improved environment to double the number of women whose lives will be transformed.
Wise’s Story
When Wise’s father passed away, her mother was left to care for Wise and her six siblings. But just having casual labor for work, they lived hand to mouth day in and day out. And then, when Wise became pregnant with her son Ali, she had to drop out of school and developed low self-esteem.
Over time, she lost trust in her mother, lost trust in God, and told herself she couldn’t trust anyone easily. But the counseling and spiritual development she’s experiencing at Neema is helping her reconcile with her mom and embrace God’s love.
