Your Love In Action - A Grace Partner Update

Since launching our Love Campaign on February 11th, we have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for our Neema students. We now have 15 first year students fully supported at $120/month which means only 5 young women remain in need of support (full or partial) to put our first year class at full partnership!

We thank God for the 18 NEW Grace Partners who have responded to meet the financial, emotional and spiritual needs of this new class of young women. We are already seeing the impact of this support on the lives of our students as many are beginning to open up and experience God’s love, grace, and forgiveness. Our girls are also beginning to hope that a better life is possible as they dedicate themselves to learning, both in the classroom and in their daily times of devotion.

Rose, one of our first year students, recently opened up in a counseling session sharing stories from her childhood of physical abuse and hard labor. She shared that after dropping out of school, due to a lack of finances to pay for her education, she was forced to get married due to the desperation of her family to survive.

Sadly, her marriage only resulted in further abuse and left her with a child she did not know how she would be able to provide for. Rose said that since coming to Neema, she has heard messages that she has never heard before (about God). As a result, she decided to forgive her former husband and other abusers. Praise God!

We are so thankful that God has brought Rose to Neema and that she now has the opportunity to make a better life for herself and her son.
