Tentative Trip Dates: June 23 - July 3, 2024 

Neema’s Mission: Neema exists to serve and equip vulnerable young women in Kitale, Kenya through skills training, counseling, and discipleship. We provide an environment where students experience healing that brings transformation to their hearts, families, and communities—for the glory of God. 

We embrace a development model of restoration, education, and transformation. We do this by providing skills-training, counseling, and discipleship to young women in rural Kenya.

Trip Objectives: Working with Neema on a long-term process of learning and engagement with Neema staff and students.

• Learn from the students about their journey prior to Neema and how Neema is transforming their lives and their family

• Lead Bible studies and be led in study by the students during morning devotionals

• Engage with students and their children through playing games and small group activities

• Leverage the different gifts and talents of team members to make the trip unique

This trip is for those who have a real desire to engage with Neema in the long-term, not just during the Neema visit. We will take a small team (up to 8 individuals) to have a meaningful experience.

We will organize mandatory team meetings approximately 6 times before our time in Kenya to learn in-depth about how to engage in healthy poverty alleviation both abroad and at home. We will also meet 2 times post-trip. These meetings will be either in person or on Zoom.
