While we were hoping that our students would return this week, a nationwide dawn-to-dusk curfew has been extended for an additional 30 days in Kenya and schools remain closed. Individuals are allowed to return to work but because the families we work with depend upon casual labor, and not a typical paycheck, they still have no access to employment.
